Monbazillac “UNUSUAL” - 75cL - 2022

Monbazillac “UNUSUAL” - 75cL - 2022

Discover this “UNUSUAL” Monbazillac, an exceptional sweet wine which embodies all the authenticity and excellence of our terroir.

Since 1936, Monbazillac has been recognized as one of the first Appellations d'Origine Contrôlées in France, and the first for sweet wines. Every fall, the long-awaited arrival of "Botrytis cinerea", or noble rot, is a crucial moment for this area. This fungus is essential for the sugar concentration of white grapes, giving rise to great sweet wines.

For this “UNUSUAL” Monbazillac, Domaine de Combet meticulously selects partially botrytised grape clusters in order to create a lively and fruity wine, both elegant and complex. Whether you are a lover of sweet wine or a novice, this vintage will conquer your taste buds on all occasions.

Made from a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon gris, this “UNUSUAL” Monbazillac is vinified with care. The grapes are harvested by hand, then vinified and aged in stainless steel vats for 15 months, thus preserving all the freshness and richness of their aromas.

When tasting, let yourself be enchanted by its subtle aromas of yellow and exotic fruits, while its freshness and softness on the palate transport you to new taste sensations.

This exceptional sweet wine will go wonderfully with an aperitif, starters such as melon, white meat or fish dishes in sauce, spicy dishes and a variety of desserts.

Treat yourself to an unforgettable taste experience with this “UNUSUAL” Monbazillac and let yourself be seduced by its unique character and incomparable finesse.
