For at Fromagerie Baechler , respect for quality and authenticity is essential. This is why cow's milk, the essential raw material for their cheeses, comes mainly from 30 local producers, located within a 30 kilometer radius of the cheese factory.
In their carefully renovated premises, they have two maturing rooms where the cheeses are pampered and perfected to reveal all their unique character and flavor. Thanks to their commitment to quality, they have been able to conquer the palates of cheese lovers around the world, exporting their delights in many countries.
Fromagerie Baechler favors an approach that respects the product and tradition. That's why it uses exclusively pasteurized and skimmed milk, and they comply with strict fermentation standards, letting their milk rest for 24 hours to ensure optimal quality.
They also take care to maintain their cheeses with the greatest care, having a room dedicated to this purpose where the cheeses are carefully treated to preserve their delicate rind and exquisite texture.
